Host and Sponsor of the meeting

The Thailand-China Joint Laboratory for Climate and Marine Ecosystem, Phuket, Thailand is hosting the integrated meetings at Phuket. UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission through IOC Perth Regional Programme Office, Perth, Australia is co-sponsoring this event.

The Kantary Bay Hotel (Picture A in the figure below) is about one hour drive from the airport, twenty minutes drive from Phuket town and 850 m away from the Venue of the Meeting at PMBC.

Hotel room bookings and Local Logistics
The local host has made arrangements for a concessional rate at the above hotel. The rate for accommodation per night is THB 1,400 (Approximately USD 45) including the complimentary breakfast, internet. Please cc to Dr. Somkiat Khokiattiwong (skhokiattiwong@gmail.com) and Dr. Weidong Yu (wdyu@fio.org.cn). Ms. Kingkanjana Sangtunchai (kingkanjana.pouy@gmail.com) will collect the itinerary of the delegates and help the delegates in booking the hotel acoommodation and pick-up / sending-off upon request.

Meeting Schedule

The integrated meetings of IOGOOS XI, SIBER-5 and IRF-5 meetings are scheduled to be held during October 29 - November 1, 2014. This meeting is being hosted by Thailand-China Joint Laboratory for Climate and Marine Ecosystem & Phuket Marine Biological Center, Phuket, Thailand. UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission through its Perth Programme Office (PPO) is also sponsoring the meetings.
