Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (Online Submission for e-Competitions)

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of it's people, culture and achievements. This event is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India's socio-cultural, political and economic identity. The official journey of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" commences on 12th March, 2021 which starts a 75 week countdown to our 75th anniversary of Independence and will end post a year on 15th August, 2023.

To commemorate the monumental occasion, all Department and Ministries hosting a set of activities for a resurgent, Aatmanirbhar Bharat. As part of this programme, INCOIS, Ministry of Earth Sciences also initiated various programmes during 18-24 October, 2021. The celebrations will begin from October 18, 2021 and closes by October 24, 2021.

Instructions for Poetry writing Competition: (Click here for detailed instructions )

  • Participants can submit short song/poetry written by hand should be in English, legible on A4 paper size and maximum up to two pages only.
  • Scanned copies of the poetry submitted in PDF, jpeg/jpg and tiff formats only
  • Criteria for evaluation: The following criteria will be used to evaluate
    • Creative and originality of the theme
    • word choice, rhythm and often rhyme
    • A clear message
  • Any eligible Indian student can participate
  • Copyright of the poetry submitted by the participants as part of this competition will lies with organizers. However, the due credit/courtesy will be given to the participants.
  • Each participant permitted to submit in only one entry
  • INCOIS is also organizing other poster and short skit competitions and you are free to participate. However, the same participant will not be awarded more than one competition.
  • By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the competition rules and warrants that their entry compiles with all the requirements set out in the rules
  • The decision of the jury panel and organizer shall be final and binding the participants with regards to the interpretation of these rules and regulations
  • Last date of submission: 21 October 2021 @ 05:30 PM (IST)

  • Participants can submit short poster prepared on drawing sheet (size A2: 420x594mm)
  • Text used in the poster should be English
  • Scanned copies of the poster submitted in PDF, jpeg/jpg and tiff formats only
  • Criteria for evaluation: The following criteria will be used to evaluate
    • Originality and Relevance to the theme
    • Ability to Stand Alone
    • Balance, Legibility and Conciseness
    • Overall Visual Appeal
    • Quality of Graphics/Contents
  • Any eligible Indian student can participate
  • Copyright of the poster submitted by the participants as part of this competition will lies with organizers. However, the due credit/courtesy will be given to the participants
  • Each participant permitted to submit in only one entry.
