Overview:

This five-day training course explores oceanographic remote sensing, focusing on the basics and practical uses of ocean colour, thermal, and microwave remote sensing. It is designed for university students and early-career researchers who want to enhance their knowledge and skills in oceanographic remote sensing. The course is tailored for those interested in applying remote sensing techniques to better understand the oceans. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with experts, engage in discussions, and learn collaboratively within the scientific community. By the end of the training course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how remote sensing plays a crucial role in studying the oceans. They will also recognise how remote sensing techniques provide valuable information about various aspects of the marine environment.

A certificate of participation will be provided to all participants who attend the Physical/online lectures and submit the assigned assignments within the specified timeframe after the course.
