This specialized training course is tailored for operational personnel from Oman who are involved in the implementation and management of early warning systems for tsunamis. The program offers an in-depth understanding of tsunami generation, propagation, observation systems, modeling tools, and dissemination of alerts. Practical hands-on sessions, case studies, and real-time simulations are integral to the course, aiming to strengthen Oman's national capacity for tsunami risk management.
