About WCSSP India

The Weather and Climate Science for Service Partnership (WCSSP), India is a collaborative initiative between the UK Met Office and the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India.

The WCSSP mission is to advance scientific understanding and modelling capabilities to improve weather and climate services, with a specific focus on extreme weather events and their multi-sector impacts. By enhancing local-scale forecast skills, WCSSP aims to empower disaster management authorities to plan effective emergency responses and ensure public safety.
