CPES 2220: A course of 35 lectures, first given at
the Flinders University of South Australia during the second half of 2004.

This web site presents the material to Science, Civilization and Society as it was developed for the course. It is still in preliminary form. Some illustrations still require copyright clearance.

The course is presently being given for the second time, which will lead to minor changes and some major amendments as time goes on. In its present form the material can be considered version 2.0.
