Measurements of aerosol optical depth (AOD), total mass of composite aerosols (MT) and black carbon (BC) mass concentration (MB) were made over the oceanic regions between coastal India to Antarctica and at the Indian stations in Antarctica, Maitri and Bharati, during the 27th Indian Antarctic Expedition in the International Polar Year (2007-2008).
