Brief Description (Abstract):

The study has been undertaken in order to understand the sedimentary processes, paleoclimate and sedimentary depositional environment along the Indian Continental Margin. 40 surficial sediments from the depth of 50 m to 500 m and 13 sediment cores (2 from east coast, 1 from Kanyakumari and 10 from west coast) with a core retrieval of 1 to 5.5 m were collected during October 2019 cruise program (SK 362) from Chennai to Mangalore continental margin. Total 261 CTD and LIIST data were collected along the west coast of India.
