Estimation of sediments for desiltation of Chulliar Reservoir, Palakkad, Kerala 2018-19

Brief Description (Abstract):

The study has been undertaken in order to understand the implication of siltation in the reservoir. A total of 90 samples were collected during the month February- April, at a depth of 0.5 to 3m as per availability. An attempt has made to quantify the percentage of loose sand deposit in the reservoir. The geochemical and mineralogical studies was done to find out the provenance.
