Brief Description (Abstract):

As a part of the High Altitude Cloud Physics Laboratory project, the Optical Rain Gauge (ORG) has deployed at Mahabaleshwar, a remote location in the complex terrain of the Western Ghats (WG) to understand the rainfall and rain intensity. The Optical Rain Gauge continuously provides the measurement of Rain Accumulation and Rain rate.

Status: Ongoing

Purpose: To measure the rainfall and rain intensity.
