Brief Description (Abstract):

Dissolved nutrients including nitrate, nitrite, silicate and phosphate were measured at 8 stations along a meridional transect (57.5 E) and 4 stations along the coast of Antarctica. Vertical samples up to a depth of 1000 m were also analyzed.

Status: Ongoing

Purpose: As a part of the regular SO expedition, nutrient data is required to understand the marine food-web dynamics and carbon biogeochemistry in SO.
