Brief Description (Abstract):

As part of the Tsunami Early Warning System project, NIOT and INCOIS have installed ten remote HF Radar sites and two central data repository sites viz. in Chennai and Hyderabad and are working continuously since 2010. Various incidents of cyclones, seasonal currents and high wave activity were captured by various radars and the detailed analysis is in progress.
