Characterization of Geomorphological, hydrological and sedimentological settings of the coastal, estuarine and inner shelf areas along the west coast of India

Brief Description (Abstract):

The study has been undertaken in order to understand the sedimentological and geochemical characterisation off the Kozhikode coast with implication to the coastal assessment and sedimentary depositional environment. A total of 29 surficial samples each were collected during pre-monsoon and monsoon season (2015-2016) along the 6 transect from Quilandy to Beypore region. In addition, sediment trap were deployed in the innershelf of Kozhikode and Quilandy region for pre-mopnsoon and monsoon seasons during 2016.
