The ENIAC

The Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer (ENIAC) in its final installation. Its total cost ran up to $486,804.22.

Two operators "programme" the ENIAC by "cabling" the computer.

Programming is finished; all cables are connected to the correct inputs and outputs.

An operator replaces one of the 19,000 vacuum tubes.
