Path of the South Pole across Gondwanaland

The apparent path of the South Pole as Gondwanaland moved its position is shown by the black line. Numbers give the pole position in million years before the present.

As Gondwanaland moved across the South Pole the icec cap followed the pole position. Arrows indicate the flow direction of the ice caps during two ice ages.
