It is issued by Tsunami Service Provider INDIA in support of the

UNESCO/IOC Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System (IOTWS).

This earthquake happend on land part of Northern Sumatra, Indonesia.

Based on historical earthquake and tsunami data, Tsunami Threat does not exist for countries in the Indian Ocean.
